Brief Description: Main Landing Gear Installation #1
Stoped by Home Depot today and grabbed a Dewalt Titanium 7/16 Drill bit. Began drilling MLG legs IAW Van's Construction Manual. On the third drill, the bit crapped out on my and left me half way though drilling the wear plates with a drill bit that simply would not bit anymore. Once again, tooling got the best of me. I will be heading back to Lowes for another temorary fix and will do some research online at VAF and see if anyone else has had this problem.
