Brief Description: Left Wing Poly-Brush and Longitudinal Tapes
I Poly-brushed the entire left wing and applied the 2" finishing tapes to the longitudinal glue seams on the underside. It's now ready for rib rivets and finishing tapes. I also notched the ends of a short piece of 1/2"AL tube (1/2 radius miters) and placed it at a diagonal in the boxed area of the wing root to straighten the center section which was pulled slightly up by the fabric tautening. I don't know how or why this happened but it has bothered me since I noticed it. This diagonal (see picture) works excellently. I put a rivet with washer in the tubes at the intersection (inside diagonal ends) so the cross-member can't move.
