I applied 2" finishing tapes to the two longitudinal fabtic seams on the underside of the right wing, for cosmetic reasons. First I applied 2 coats of Poly-brush, then the tapes and then two more coats with a little retarder to allow brush marks to flash out.
Next, I turned over the wing and started dressing the ribs. I first cut equal lengths of 3/8" reinforcement tapes for all 13 ribs and layed them down in nice centered and straight lines on the ribs. Next, I used a soldering iron to open the rivet holes (143 of them). I then put all of the rib rivets in their respective holes for tomorrow.
