I re-did the battery post stand-offs and completed the final battery cable routing. I used some Aluminum tubing with a greater wall thickness that just fit over AN3 bolts. These are more substntial than the thin walled stuff I originally used. I built a 3' length of RG58, 50 ohm coax and added male BNC connectors to both ends. This was perfect to route from the transponder to the antenna and secure it. I used some rubber channel molding on the ground plane to eliminate chafing.
