I found that the reason I was getting no reception from my com radio was due to a bad BNC at the antenna end. I found this by wiggling the connectors while listening to the radio. It cut in and out when I moved the one atthe antenna. This was a fabricated cable and I didn't want to remove it (major hassle) to take back to Aerozona Air Parts. I had a simple compression type add on connector from a previous project and a good coax stripper, so...
It now works very well both transmitting and receiving.
