Brief Description: Preparations for Right Wing Top Fabric
Cold again! It snowed today. Twice. That is very, very unusual for Phoenix.
I was able to apply Poly-tak for the top fabric. I also wrapped pipe insulation (3/4") around all of the wing compression members. This eliminates any tendency for the bottom fabric to chafe against these tubes while in flight.
Also at the suggestion of Ron Eggemeyer, I ran a nylon string from the strobe mount to the wing root in case I would ever want or need to pull another wire bundle. Simple and could come in handy someday.
