I removed all of the fabric from the left aileron using liberal amounts of MEK. Then cleaned the tubes with more MEK. I then correctly recovered the aileron with just a single fabric sheet, draping the fabric centerline over the trailing edge. Better. I'll do the right one when I get the replacement fabric sheet.
