I started on the jury struts today. This went slowly. After drilling my first poorly alligned hole, I decided I needed a drill press. Moving my real heavy drill press to the hangar was out of the question so I went to Harbor Freight and bought a cheap but actually quite nice bench top drill press for $40. I clamped a v-block to the table and was ready to continue. This was a good decision. I ordered a couple of 4' lengths of 1/2" tubing to replace what I had botched and continued with the jury struts.
