I fabricated a jig (drill template) to use on the ribs to accurately drill the holes for the broad head rivets that act as fabric hold-downs (rib stitching). I used a 4' piece of 3/4" angle steel and drilled the 1/8" holes at 4" intervals.
Using this jig, I drilled all of the rib rivet holes.
