Tonight I removed the centre wing spar, marked the rivet lines on the cabin floor doubler, installed the cabin floor doubler and back drilled through the cabin floor into the doubler. I then marked the rivet positions on the front of the doubler, removed the doubler and drilled the #40 pilot holes. I next re-installed the doubler and back drilled from underneath through the cabin floor. The centre wing spar was then re-installed.
All work was carried out in accordance with the Zenith Aircraft Company Construction Standards 2007, Zenith Aircraft Company Photo Assembly Guide 2008, the Zenith Aircraft Company Plan Set Serial Number 65-7512 and the 2010 Zenith Aircraft Company Upgrade Drawing Set Serial Number 65-7512.
