Brief Description:  Riveted Aft Spar, Forward Spar, Ribs Together, Tip

I didn't have to work today, so after a long wait at the Post Office (go figure), Ellen and I were able to put in a good day's effort. We started by putting both sides of the skins on and blind riveting the ribs together. After that, we buck riveted the second skin to the aft spar, which I thought was going to be a big problem since it takes a long bucking bar to fit into the area. Ellen did a great job and it went rather quickly. Next came blind riveting the forward spar to the ribs, followed by riveting the skins to the forward spar. The ends were a little complicated because of some required riveting, but it went well, just slow toward the end. Getting the outboard tip rib on is a lesson in patience and spacial relationship in order to get the squeezer in there, but it is possible. After changing all the yokes on the squeezers several times, I called it quits for the day. I have duty tomorrow night so I cleaned up the carport fairly well since they are forcasting rain.
