Brief Description: Dimpled and Countersunk Elevator Parts
Today I dimpled all the subcomponents that needed it according to the plans. I also countersund the aluminium trailing edge wedge after building up a little jig to keep it perpendicular to the drill bit and steady while I used the drill press. The drill press sure makes everything easier, I would highly recommend one. I used the pneumatic squeezer wherever possible to dimple to speed up the process. One goof, but is minor. I somehow screwed up one of the holes on a rib, but I will use an oops rivet and it will be fixed. I will be going out of town on Wednesday, so I doubt I will complete the elevators by then.
