Brief Description: Trimmed Elevator Counterweights and Cleaned Out Tr
The weather was pretty good today, but too windy to try and rivet the trailing edge of the elevators together. Instead, I just cleaned out the Pro-Seal that oozed out of the holes with a #40 drill that I spun with my fingers. After that I went ahead and trimmed the lead counterweights. I suppose that it is cheaper for Van's to manufacturer them like they do and then have builder modify them to the plans. I used the band saw to cut off the excess and then a vixen file to smooth them out. I made sure I thorougly washed my hands when I was done. I am already a little stupid and I don't want to git any worce (get it)
