Trimed and installed the upper cowl. Still need to cut a oil door. I used the kit supplyed 1/4 turn Southco Dzus fasteners for the cowl to firewall flange joint. I used #8 screws and fixed (non-floating) nutplates with #11 holes for all the fasteners common to the horizontal upper to lower cowl joint. I have heard reports that the Southco fasteners are a bear to engage on the very flexable upper to lower cowl joint.
