Brief Description:  Started final assembly of center fuselage frame

Started final assembly of Center Fuselage frame. I polished the bores of the landing gear bearing block with some emery cloth rapped around a stick in the drill press. I had to do this because the bores got a little bit scored when I used them as a guide to drill thru the belly skins and doublers and used Vaseline as a lubricant for the first set of holes. On the second set of holes I used WD-40 which worked much better.
I started riveting the cockpit floor ribs in place. I riveted the wrong rib in one of the positions. I had to remove the rivets, but the rib spacing was too tight to knock out the rivet cores with a punch. I made up a low height rivet punch, which made it possible to have enough space to hammer out the rivet cores. I made the punch with one of the rivet mandrel that I mounted in a stick. I then drilled out the rivets and moved the rib to the proper location. Finally a use for one of the thousands of used rivet mandrels!
