The brass hinge bushings are easily filed to length with a hand file. Drilling the bushing hole in the steel lower hinge by hand resulted in drill chatter and a hole slightly bigger than it should be. I should of used a drill press. Since the bushing was about 0.01 inch over length, I put the hinge/bushing assembly in a vise and squeezed it like a rivet, then reamed out the inside diameter. This worked well and gave a good interferance fit. Use a actual 1.25" outside dia pipe for rolling the leading edge. When the tail of a undriven rivet is too long so that the rivet will not sit flush prior to pulling, a hand puller will slowly draw the rivet up while the rivet is being pushed farther into the hole.
