Brief Description: Primed the vertical stab frame details
The weather is warm enough to paint (65~70 degrees), so I stayed home from Sharon’s mom's mothers day lunch and primed the vertical stab. It is forecast to be cold and rainy soon, so I thought I should do this now or risk being held for 2 weeks. I paint outside in the driveway on saw horses with a piece of plywood on top. First a acetone wipe, then a light scrub with detergent a application of etch, a good rinse and then a light coat of primer/sealer, all from Stewart systems. Nice primer system, non toxic and non explosive, plus easy water clean-up.
