spot-faced part-way into the backside of the fiberglass hold down strip to clear over the top of a few upper panel rivets. Clamped and appied heat to the ends of the hold down strip - then hand pressure to the free-standing leg, to remove a bit more of the warp out-of-plane. Then sealed with paintable DAP sealant and riveted. Rivits were installed wet with sealant. The windshield hold down strip is a pretty much perfect fit with no warp at the ends.
