Decided to put mount the oil cooler forward of the engine # 2 Cylinder. This is where the S-20 Raven and the S-6 and 7 mount their's. I want to stay as close to existing installations as I can to insure I have good cooling. The Rotax 912 is fuel injected engine burns a lot leaner in cruise so it doesn't get as much cooling effect from a rich mixture, but at full throttle the fuel mixture goes rich so I hope the cooling at max climb will be OK. I made up prototype brackets from wood and scrap aluminum. I will change them to welded steel when clearance to the upper cowl is verified.
