Since I want to prewire the ADAHRS system to accept a back-up unit for the future, I need to splice a "Y" into the 9 wire harness. I cut each wire and spliced the cut wire and new wire all in the same direction. I twisted the striped wires and soldered the wires. Put heat shrink ove the solder joint, then bent one wire in the oposite direction and put heat shrink over thebend and joint. I spliced all nine wires in this way in a stagered pattern. The I put chinese mesh tube over the whole joint and chinese mest tubes on the two Y legs with heat shrink on the ends. Looks good.
