Spent a few hrs at a time a few days this work week opening up the bearing blocks that the rudder pedal torque tubes ride in. Wrapping a piece of sandpaper around a socket and sanding the hole ID seemed to work well. I used a few layers of masking tape around the socket under the sandpaper to slowing increase the diameter of the sander. I takes awhile because the hole doesn’t tighten on the torque tube shaft until the blocks are tight on the floor panel, so there was a lot of going back and forth. The final diameter was 0.759". I also had to sand about 0.01" off the thickness of one of the blocks to keep the torque tube from binding axially.
