Brief Description: Drilled wire holes in control sticks
Drilled 1/4" diameter holes in control sticks. From pictures on the Rans Clan website, it appears that the holes belong on opposite sides of each stick just above the lower joint. I used a drill press at 3300 rpm and smoked my 9/64 and 5/32 high speed drill bits (red hot) I was using Boelub drilling wax. I switched to colbalt drills and it worked much better. I need to learn how to drill steel.
