Brief Description: Readjustment of 8' bending brake
I wantd to have the clamp a little close to the face or bending tongue or whatever it's called, so that the tolerances were a little tighter. Notice and slight amount of variance there that I wasn't happy with, especially being that I ws ready to start making the elevator skin.
Took the clmap off the brake and then drilled the two single holes I had for the clamp on either end and opened them up for starters so I could have about 1/4 inch travel back and forth. Next I started. Then I startedmaking up two new blocks that the clamp ends will attach to but that will each be mounted with two bolts and oversized holes so that I can adjust the clamp front and back slightly.
