Made a new out end plate for the left wing tank using the new forms. Much better quality part. Not that the previous ones were bad, but the new form makes it easier to shrink those tight corners.
Geoff Heap stopped by and brainstormed a bit on the vent as well as possibly adding baffles to the tank.
As far as the vent, I think I'm going to using an AN-6 bulkhead fitting with a flared tub connected on the inside. Eaiser and less hassle than trying to weld yet anouther fitting. Seams aren't too bad. I really don't look forward to the fittings. Plus, I can mount this pretty much where the pans call for it. I can probably even use the same dealw for the fuel outlet. SO that would only leave me welding one fitting, the drain. That has to be welded because the area where it goes needs to be flat. In fact, that the area where it goes needs to be slightly indented to collect any water.
