Cut out and made left aileron skin in large bending brake.
Got bored and also welded seam on right fuel tank in preparation for either using that tank as a practice atnk or being pleasantly surprised and being able to use it as an actual tank. Worse case, I make three tanks and shitcan the fist one. The long seam on this one actually went pretty well. The only problems I ran into scaling up from small sample weld pieces to full side was with warpage of the skin. Had I had more clamps along the flange seam, the weld would have been pretty damn good. Even so, it wasn't bad, but it got better the more I welded and the more the seams stayed together because of welding. Next time; more clamps, more tack welds. THe tank is still good enough to be a candidate though. No major porosity except in places where I knew things weren't going right and I just stopped and backed off. They can still be cleaned up and filled.
