Brief Description:  Left Flap Skin

Layed, cut, and formed left flap skin. Dag, even with my garage reorganized and some key tools like the air compressor setup for easy use of the air tools these days it still takes awhile to do those skins. Of course about 45 minutes of that time was spent extracting the skin from the large bending brake. If I remember correctly, the right flap skin wasn't fully squashed down on the acute angle til after I finished forming it in the brake. This time I sured up that crease before putting the final bend in the skin and it would up getting stuck in the brake to the point I had to take the tensioner bar off the top and nearly take the clamp clean off of the brake.

Tomorrow I'll fit all the parts together and drill and clecoe.

Still, looking back on it all now, I believe it took me something like 35 hours to make the rudder when I first started this whole thing, which isn't much more complicated than the flaps and now I've got two flaps well on their way to being done in about 11 hours so far.
