Brief Description:  Spar prep for riveting

Deburring all parts, the cleaned, then Metal Prepped 79. Afterwards I primed all the parts and assembled with clecoes and a few small bolts and inserted about 80% of the rivets for alignment purposes.

Geoff stopped over and took a look at things. We came to the conclusion that riveting the spar flat on the table would work with the ends supported and middle left to flop onto the bucking bar. Then we tried a small spring made out of aluminum stock that worked well with a test rivet so I figured I'd go to Ace Hardware and pick up some springs. I wound up put two on each end and two in the middle with shims. Worked excellent. Will do al of the riveting this way tomorrow.
