Brief Description: Rear Spar and Center Spar Section
Layed out hole pattern on right wing rear spar channels and splice. Deburred and primed parts. Reassembled and riveted with A5 rivets.
Back to center spar section: Drilled pilots holes in remaining bottom two spar caps. Drilled hole pattern in bottom of front spar web based on hole pattern in spar caps. Primed parts for center spar section (piece that fits inside fuselage and wing spars bolt to). Reassembled entire assembly and clamped to table. Used screws to allign through first top first web spar and two spar caps and then drilled through second spar web. Reamed and used A5-10 rivets for alignement to pilot open 6 bolt holes to .237" then reamed to .250". Disassembled, deburred. and reassembled two web spar halves individually in preparation for riveting. Used A5-9 rivets for alignement and several clecoes as clamps. Temporarily taped loose rivets in place for riveting alignment. Tara helped hold assembly while I tried a few rivets. Did 6 or 7 in about 2 minutes, two need to come out. Will finish the rest tomorrow morning.
