Brief Description:  Skin for right tank

I got a chance yesterday while rinsing out my first fuel tank to try out the baffles inside. I filled the tank about 40% and sloshed it back and forth while handing it with a hand on either end. No surging at all. Should be pretty nice in the wing. Took about 2 seconds for the flow to bottom on one side vs the other side when you tilt it one way then the other. I still have a damn pinhole to fix yet again in that same spot. This time it didn't show a leak till I filled the tank with water, and oddly enough in an area that wasn't a problem the first time using the compressed air and balloon check. After draining it and using the balloon and compressed air, the same damn hole that leaked with water again, didn't leak with air. Friggin' bizarre. Maybe the coldness of the water warped the tank enough to open that pinhole up enough to leak. Actually, it's not a pinhole as much as 3mm area of unwelded seem that appeared to have been welded due to all the flux on it. Whatever, I'll hit it up again.

Cut tank skin to length (the 3003 .050 sheet I welded the fitting to yesterday). Cut to 1005mm and laid out first bend line. Made first bend (bend on rear bottom). Good thing I took pictures of the first one while doing it being that i couldn't remember and didn't write down the bend steps. Took me awhile the first time to figure out how to do the 5 bends and still have the entire thing be able to fit in the bending brake without interfering with itself.
