Pg. 18-3 Left Flaperon Step 5: Match drilled #30 the holes in the upper flanges of the Outbd Nose Ribs. Completed the #30 match drilling by removing the Aileron Counterbalance pipe from the assy. to a vice where I drilled the #30 holes using a hand electric drill. I used a sharp bit; slow speed; lots of oil and moderate pressure on the drill. SS is hard material. Step 6: The parts being unclecoed, I deburred the holes I just drilled. The holes in the Aileron Counterbalance were deburred using a half round file taped to a rod to reach inside the pipe.
Pg. 18-4 Left Flaperon Step 2: Deburred the Inbd Nose Ribs. Clecoed the Bracket to the Inbd Nose Ribs. Step 3: Riveted the bracket to the Inbd Nose Ribs. Step 4: Clecoed the Pivot Brackets, Inbd Nose Ribs and Bracket Assy to the Spar. Step 5: Used a standard hardware bolt and nut (10-32) through the A-1208 Bracket and the Actuation Bracket with 8 AN960-10 washers to establish the correct spacing for the Actuation Bracket. Step 6: Aligned the Actuation and Pivot Brackets with the top edge of the Spar and match drilled into the spar and clecoing the drilled holes. Step 7: Removed the Pivot Brackets, Actuation Bracket and Nose Rib Bracket Assy for deburring. Step 8: Deburred all edges and holes. Primed the Pivot Brackets, Actuation Bracket and all Nose Ribs
