Called Van's regarding elongating the Latch Tube Hole to allow the Canopy to be moved back so the edge aligned with the groove in the Roll Bar. This was approved by Ken Scott. He also stated the 1/4" gap at the front edge is ok as this is covered by the fiberglass. Trimmed the edges where required with a Scotchbrite disk in a die grinder. Reinstalled Canopy and marked areas in need of trim with Painters tape.
