Step 1: Temporarily attached the Fuel Neck to the Fuel Tank Assy. Installed the Fuel Cap and sealed with duct tape. Attached the air valve to the AN832-4D using hose clamps and rubber hose supplied. Attached a quality party balloon to the Fuel Strainer with electrical tape. Inflated the balloon by pressurizing the tank through the air valve with a bicycle pump.
Step 2: Sprayed soapy water on all connections, screws, rivets and seams. Found 4 leaks. Two were on the test equipment. The balloon leaked at it's connection. Secured using a small hose clamp. Air valve leaked at it's connection. Secured with a smaller hose clamp. Two screws on the Fuel Sending Unit leaked. Secured by tightening. Retested and after 24 hours there were no leaks. The balloon retained it's original circumfrence.
