When I originally trimmed the Flap Handle Tube, I didn't have the Flap Handle Assy bolted in place. This gave me the incorrect length for the Flap Handle Tube and I trimmed off 3/16" too much. Pg. 32-07 Step 3: Cut the Flap Handle Tube to length per the plans. Step 4: Aligned the Fork Assy with the Flap Handle Tube and Match-drilled #30 two holes on each side. Step 5: Riveted the Fork Assy to the Flap Handle Assy. Step 12: Pressed the Flap Knob onto the Fork Assy after sanding down the last inch of the Flap Tube to allow a slip on fit with the Flap Knob. Then slid them and the compression spring into the Flap Handle. Pg. 32-08 Step 1: Inserted the Flap Detent Bracket through the Flap Handle and between the Flap Handle Forks. Step 2: Screwed the Flap Detent Bracket to the Seat Floor using the 0.025 shims between. Step 3: With the Flap Assy bolted in and the Fork Assy engaged in the bottom notch, trimmed 1/32" from the end of Flap Handle Tube so the Flap Knob flange was flush with the end of the Flap Handle. Step 4: Removed the Fork Assy and drilled #30 a hole in the Flap Knob into the Flap Tube. Deburred and riveted the Assembly together and reassembled the Flap Handle Assy.
