Performing Inventory on Empennage, Fuselage and Wings kits. Stored small hardware items into labeled storage drawer containers purchased at Home Depot. As a backup, I indicated on the label the bag from which these items were taken. So far this system seems to work better than shuffling through several, and I mean lots of bags, to find an item. All the hardware for all three kits are now in one location. Some drawers have like items from numerous bags. Moderate sized pieces are stored on 3 5-shelf units purchased at Home Depot. I put the lowest sub-kits at he top and the miscellaneous parts at the bottom. Each shelf unit is dedicated to a separate major kit. Some long items are under my 10' long table. Large sheet metal pieces are still stored in there boxes out in the hanger.
