Pg. 08-03 Step 4: Installed the AST Spar inside the AST Skin. The reference hole was oriented up and outboard. Riveted the AST Spar to the top AST Skin. Step 6: Clamped the HS-1223 Drill Guide to the hinge half. Step 7: Match-drilled #30 the entire hinge half using drill guide with the notches toward the eyelets.
Pg. 08-04 Step 1: Riveted the bottom surface of the AST Skin to the AST Ribs assuring that the skin was on the outside of the AST Spar. Step 2: Riveted the AST Hinge to the AST Skin and AST Spar with the eyelets outward.
Pg. 11-04 Step 3: Attached the left and right AST Assemblies together with the called out hardware. Step 4: Secured the bent ends of the AST Hinge Pins with safety wire through the holes in the Stabilator Assembly. Twisted the wire on the inside of the Stabilator Assembly.
