Pg. 08-03 Step 3: Riveted the AST Control Horn to the inboard rib. Step 5: Removed the hinge pin from the MS20257-3 piano hinge and saved it as I will reuse the original hinge pin. The one half of the hinge was saved as I will be using the half installed on the Stabilator. Cut the hinge half to 32 1/2".
Pg. 08-02 Step 3: Clecoed the top and bottom flanges of the AST Ribs to the inside of the AST Skin. The three inboard rib flanges faced outboard and the outboard rib flanges faced inboard. Step 4: Making sure the trailing edge was on a flat surface, final-drilled #30 the aft holes in the AST Ribs. Disassembled and deburred the holes. Step 5: Riveted the the top flanges of the AST Ribs to the AST Skin.
