Pg. 12-06 Step 5: Aligned the forward edge of the Lower Tailcone Fairing to the fairing edge line on the "BL" and "BR" tapes. Clamped and taped fairing to the Tailcone. Step 6: Aligned the forward edge of the Upper Tailcone Fairing to the fairing edge line on the "AL" and "AR" tapes. Aligned the notch in the Upper Tailcone Fairing with the slot in the Lower Tailcone Fairing. Step 7: Sanded the mating edges of the Upper and Lower Tailcone Fairings for best fit. Pg. 12-07 Step 1: Removed the Upper Tailcone Fairing. Marked and clamped the Tabs, with the reference notches aligned with the edge of the Lower Tailcone, to the outside surface of the Lower Tailcone. Step 2: Match-drilled #40 one hole of a Tab into the Lower Tailcone and clecoed. After checking alignment drilled the other hole #40. Drilled the remaining tabs. Removed the tabs, the cleared the chips and reclecoed. Step 3: Reinstalled the Upper Tailcone Fairing and clamped/taped in place. Clamped the Tabs to the Upper Tailcone Fairing. Step 4: Match-drilled #40 the center hole of each Tab into the Upper Tailcone Fairing.
