Pg 34-11 Step 1: Had to chamfer the Latch Block at the end of the hook and along the top aft edge. Filed .010" from the top of the hook surface.
Determined the Canopy Arms forward of the skirt did not have enough fiberglass remaining after sanding to provide adequate strength and micro previously added would not provide it. So I elected to remove the micro and add some wet lay-ups in this area on both sides. Once these are adequate and even, I'll be finished with the fiberglass.
Primed the U-1203C Landing Gear Doubler Plates.
Had a spot of snow today. Hope it warms up now so I can move out to the hanger and assemble the big parts.
