Brief Description:  Canopy Installation

Sanded the micro on the low spots. Added spotting putty to the pin holes and sanded smooth. Added more micro to the low spots to even out the surface. Installed Canopy, marked interferences and sanded these areas.

Pg. 35-02
Step 1: Used a 3/8" bit to drill out the 3/16" hole in the top of the Firewall Assembly common to the Engine Mount Standoff. Temporarily bolted the Engine Mount Standoff to the Firewall Assembly. Need to get cotter pins as I can't find them. They either got used in the wrong place, got lost or were not shipped with the kit. The last two are not likely. Moved Fuselage to the foor so that the Canopy may be fully opened to check for interferences between the fiberglass lay-ups and Fuse Skin.

After the Canopy is finished, the Fuselage will be returned to the work table to complete odds and ends on the controls, wiring and brake pedals before moving to the hanger. The Canopy will be stored in it's crate for protection until final assembly
