Step 2: Machine countersunk the rivet holes in the Cowl 12 Oil Door. Riveted the VA-263 Oil Door Gooseneck and VA-263C Oil Door Hinge Doubler to the Cowl 12 Oil Door.
Step 3: Used a step drill to match-drill the 1/4" hole from the Cowl12 Oil Door into the oil door recess. Centered an HW 212-12 camloc receptacle on the 1/4" holes in the oil door recess using an HW 2600-3W camloc fastener. Aligned the fastener parallel with the oil door opening and match-drilled #40 the rivet holes into the oil door recess.
Step 4: Final-drilled the 1/4" of the oil door recess to 1/2" using a step drill.
Step 5: Machine countersunk the rivet holes in the Top Cowl and riveted the camloc receptacles to the Top Cowl. Secured the camloc fasteners to the Cowl 12 Oil Door using the camloc washers.
Step 6: Temporarily attached the VA-263 Oil Door Hinge Lugs to the Cowl 12 Oil Door assembly.
Step 7: Attached the Cowl Door Assembly to the top cowl with the camloc fasteners. Rotated the Oil Door Hinge Lugs to contact the top cowl and match-drilled #40 the rivet hole locations.
Step 8: Removed the Cowl 12 Oil Door Assembly and machine countersunk the the four rivet holes.
Step 9: Clecoed and riveted the Oil Door Hinge Lugs to the Top Cowl.

Step 1: Reattached the Cowl12 Oil Door Assembly to the oil door hinge lugs and snugged the nuts until the door would stay open on its own. Inserted the cotter pins.
