Pg. 38-02 Step 1: Trimmed the Top and Bottom Cowls to within 1/8" of the scribe line using a Dremel tool with a reinforced cut-off wheel. Sanded to the scribe line with a vibrating sander and 60 grit sand paper. Step 2: Sanded away excess resin from inside surfaces of the Top Cowl and outside corners of the flange on the Bottom Cowl. Step 3: Sanded the flange of the Bottom Cowl to 5/8". Step 4: Clamped the cowls together and marked the locations of the three holes on each side of the Top Cowl. Drilled #40 the inboard holes on each side. Step 5: Cut then sanded the slot in the Bottom Cowl. Step 6: Used a Unibit to start the holes for the Gascolator and Exhaust Pipe. Finished the holes with a file and a Dremel tool. Step 7: Cut the excess material from the Bottom Cowl air inlet with the Dremel and sanded to the scribe line.
