I never thought it would be possible to hang the engine with only me and my 9 year old son Christopher. I have to give credit to the folks at Jabiru and the Installation DVD from Homebuilt Help.com. It is well worth the money. The key factor for our success is a 4 axle pulley hung from a beam of our hangar. Yes ... that means that if I am able to pull a load of about 180 lbs/4 = 44.5 lbs then I should be able to manage. Per the video, open the crate turn it on one side (prop hub facing down). Unscrew 4 screws on the bottom of the crate. and just roll the engine out. I held the engine while Christopher unscrewed the bottom screws. Very smooth !!!
