Upon testing the setup for the front gear, I realized that the gear leg was touching the center pin. Something was not right. In fact I could not install the center pin. Not good! Upon further investigation I came to the conclusion that the firewall top stiffener was about 5mm too narrow. When I drilled the 2" hole I had to center it about 55 mm from the firewall instead of 60 mm per the specs (since I would be too close to the front edge). After sitting and crying like a baby, I then took some time to relax and figure out a way to fix this problem.
