This part was a little tricky. It required some thought. I was able to make all my cuts with the vertical band saw, just had to get creative with the corners and 1/4" radius. I bent one side using a wood template. On the other side, the wood template cracked so I opted to used the edge of my bend brake (shimmed to give me the 1/4" radius). Comparing the new plans to my first XL I can see that this part along with the firewall side stiffeners are new. This hole area has been re-enforced quite a bit.
