Brief Description: 1.- Started Riveting the wing spar
Had to finish up some open items from last night, such as drilling the 1/4" hole in the lower inboard spar cap and priming the nose rib angles and hat stiffeners. Once completed with these small items I took the plunge and started riveting. I used the X3 riveting gun along with bucking bar. I actually did ok. I was very happy with the outcome. I prefer this method than having to handle such a big peice with the C frame riveter. I only completed about 1/4 of the rivets since it was getting dark and did not want to make too much noise in consideration to our neighbors. Will have to continue tomorrow.
