Brief Description: Drilled out the center spar spacers
I first cut the aluminum rod to about a 15 mm length using my vertical band saw. I then proceeded to drill the 1/4" center hole and then proceeded to bring the dimesion down to 13.7 mm. It was a pleasure to use the lathe. Like a fellow neighbor once told me... every house hold should have one ! My first attempt turned out to be 0.1 mm short and there seamed to be too much play when I tested a AN4 bolt. So I decided to drill a small pilot hole and progressively enlarge it, It will take me longer but the process will yeild a much better product.
