Brief Description:  First attempt at Stabilizer Rear Spar

I have been making good progress except for this weekend. I decided to try and bend the 0.040" horizontal stabilizer rear spar and so far I have already scrapped two attempts. The first one... I took wrong measurements. I was 10 mm short (not a big deal since I would use the material to make the spar doublers). In my second attempt I got the measurements correct but then my first bend came out exactly between horrible and disastrous. Analyzing the situation I realized that the bend brake was having a hard time holding the material in place at the ends causing a "bended bow" effect. I also realized that the bend brake needed a couple more lever points along the handle so I added 2 more pieces of square tubing. Then I decided to tackle the spar doublers hoping for better results since the are half the length. Once I finished the bend I was happy with the results but It was not quite the 96 degrees the plans call for so I took my tin grip tool and worked the bend to 96 degrees. As you can imagine.. this was a bad idea! since I ended up with another part with a "bow effect".
