Cut hole in instrument panel for autopilot head with panel cutter. Connected comm antenna wire to comm antenna and routed antenna wire down thru center panel then along main spar bulkheads towards wing root. Drilled access holes in both hain spar bulkheads for antenna wire. Ran antenna wire thru bulkeads and connected to antenna. Did same for transponder antenna routing cable through left side of aircraft backwards to transponder antenna. Fitted grommets into all holes and tied down antenna wires with stick on patches and tie-wraps. Routed ELT antenna wire through transponder grommets and upt through center panel. Also routed pilots push-to-talk wire through center cable and transponder grommets to pilots stick. Decided to use right wing mounting for autopilot servo and to route cables thru right wing similar to the mounting of the AOA tubes in the left wing. Routed autopilto servo wires thru right wing. Bent fuel level float rods and sealed fuel level floats into position with fuel tank sealant and screws. Routed wiring from panel area out to each wing for fuel tank level gauge and setup connectors to sending units. Fabricated parts for tilt-up canopy hinge brackets and drilled holes for mounting of backets to sub panels. Put canopy frame in place to test hinge bracket fit.
