Brief Description: Prepare and Rivet Wing Top Skins
Well since I could not yet go to my new job (Since my clearance is still being tracked down), I went to the garage and got some good work done today. Started by working on the scarf joint on the wing top skins where they overlap. Used my dremel with a sanding barrel on it, followed by a scotchbrite in my die grinder. Smoothed down pretty well and fits nice and even with the fuel tank top skin. Then I started clecoing the skins in place. Bill Pinney called and was available (so I said come on over) and we spent a couple hours riveting the left tank top skins. Did not get them complete but got a good start. Starting to really (no sh**) look like a wing.
Right Wing Top Skins Cleco'd in place
Left Wing Inboard Top skin nearly completely riveted
Still a few more clecos to get rid of and then the wing comes off the jig
