Brief Description: Pitot Heat Mount Prep and Rivet Leading Edge
Still waiting for my daugher and future son in law (only 4 more weeks) so went ahead and went to work prepping for the installation of the Gretz Aero heated pitot heat mount. Photo #1 shows the rough cut in the left wing bottom outboard skin. I installed it just outboard of the most outboard inspection panel. Had to fabricate a piece to rivet to the rib which I will photo when I install it in a few days. I did go ahead and get the hole all smoothed out - it fit the chromed mount pretty well. Think I have it all prepped for installation, just waiting on the primer on the parts to dry. Then they got there and we went to work riveting the leading edge. Got going pretty good with me bucking, Bill riveting and Mary moving the clecos and inserting the rivets. Got the left leading edge done before they had to leave
